About me

I am a tenured Assistant Professor at the Onizuka Lab, Graduate School of Information Science and Technology, The University of Osaka. I received my Ph.D. in Informatics from Kyoto University in 2023, under the supervision of Prof. Masatoshi Yoshikawa and Prof. Yang Cao. Currently, I am working with Prof. Makoto Onizuka and Prof. Chuan Xiao. I have research experience in data-centric AI and AI security. I am also deeply interested in interdisciplinary research at the intersection of computer science, law, and economics, particularly in legal AI and game-theoretic AI.

  • ShapleyLaw: We proposed a game-theoretic multilingual scaling law that captures cross-lingual transfer and optimizes language mixture ratios. This work has been accepted for EMNLP 2026 Main Conference.
  • Spatial Lexical Bias in MLLMs: We identified spatial lexical bias in multimodal large language model spatial reasoning and proposed a lightweight method to mitigate it. This work has been accepted for EMNLP 2026 Main Conference.
  • Vision on LLM Security: Our vision paper “Seven Security Challenges That Must be Solved in Cross-domain Multi-agent LLM Systems” has been accepted by npj Artificial Intelligence.
  • FLES: We designed a new self-gated activation method that addresses the non-local tension problem commonly present in existing activation functions. This work has been accepted by ICLR 2026.
  • Social Simulation for Legal Research: I have been invited to give a talk entitled “Towards LLM-Based Social Simulation for Research in Law” at AI-Law@AAAI 2026.
  • One paper accepted for JURIX 2025 (Short Paper): “Reinforcement Learning with Argument-Structured Reward for Court Decision Abstractive Summarization.”
  • One paper accepted for NeurIPS 2025 (Main Track): “Language‑Bias‑Resilient Visual Question Answering via Adaptive Multi‑Margin Collaborative Debiasing.”
  • Legal Fact Prediction: We proposed a novel legal AI task, legal fact prediction (LFP), which enhances the practicality of the legal judgment prediction task. We also released a benchmark for LFP, LFPBench. This work has been accepted for EMNLP 2025 Main Conference.
  • PrivBench: We developed a privacy-preserving database synthesis method for benchmarking scenarios. This work has been accepted for VLDB 2025.
